Welll i was goinggg to make a longg blog about this passage i was readinggg and thought of an awesome song.. went to google the lyrics and one of the search results was linked to the YF blog! how COOL (http://yfonline.wordpress.com/2009/10/06/who-is-like-you-tim-neufield-from-starfield/)

anyway.. FYI.. this passage (Exodus 15:11-13) was awesome and so is the song! Soo i think the song says more than i could ever write. :)

Josh Wilson is the artist behind the whole song and its written about his friends and their struggles and how much they relied upon God. Our God who is so mighty, sovereign in everything He does. hi zhi. this is dedicated to you.

i found out i really like honey mustard sauce. with like chicken avocado and salad in a wrap. rich is on a diet cos of high cholesterol.... well i should too cos i have high cholesterol too AHHAH. but i heard avocado is good for it.. :) soo i should eat more... because God made our bodies perfect and we should really treat them like a "temple" and keep them healthy right?

conversation I had with a telemarketer.
Andy (A): Hi, my name is A from Telstra, I'm looking for the householder owner
Dad: Hello, let me pass the phone to my daughter.
Susie (S): Hi. Sorry, they are not available... (worst lie)
A: Sorry man, are you ___insert moms name___?
S: No sorry, my parents dont speak english.
A: You know you're not registered on the phone bill, so I am unable to speak with you.
S: Okay. Why are you calling? is it urgent or you upselling?
A: No well its just basically, I call to offer you better deals with great discounts etc. BLAH BLAH BLAH...
S:*thinks: didnt you just say you couldn't speak to me?* if its not urgent then i'll talk to you later.
A: okies well did you want to hear about the discounts i can give?
S: not really. thanks. I'll TTYL!

A mans job?

this is what i did the other day:
1: I tried to start my car. It didn't start.
2: So I panicked.
3: First thing I think of is... out of fuel. But no I'm sure I had fuel.
4: AHH maybe its the battery. Let me pop the bonnet and see.
*opens bonnet* *looks in*
5: AHH i feel like im sooo smart i know what the battery looks like...
6: ahahha whats the use of looking at a battery if you're too chicken to even touch it.... or the bigger problem is that you dont even know how to be sure it works. AHHAH...

OOHH MOO MOOO I'm going overseas

I finally have my passport, although I look shifty in the passport photo! Yay. All that is left to do is for muah to pack me bags :) I want a window seat and a seat with leg room and away from the toilet PLUS I want a kids coloring pack. I wonder if they still do them!

ohhh la la... recently,I found this site that makes AWEESOME stickers and business cards etc. I love stickers. the stickers are such a winner :) I wish they did travel bag tags! How awesome would that be.

Weddings Weddings Weddings

There are a heap of weddings coming up and I have to say, this reminds me of 1 passage. Ephesians 5. HAHAH it was like my worst nightmare. Mr. R said to me: you should start with Ephesians. So I did. And I got to this passage and thought: :0 what the... SUMBIT??! SUMBITT?!? Assssss ifff man. Hahah

Essentially, I thought the passage was summed up as: WOMEN ARE DOOR MATS! Which is not true. Hehe I had to read the whole passage to get the whole context! Hahah this was my first lesson on “reading in context”

Privilege or Burden?

Jury duty in my mind has been a burden, but I have surprisingly gained some useful insight on how courts are run.

BLT conference was a privilege. Although in the midst of all my assignments God gave me the opportunity to attend a conference which encouraged proactive/productive fellowship and recognizing that joy comes from an undying love for our Lord and Saviour.

How we see things as a privilege or burden can essentially change how what we do and view things. Amazing isn't it.

Q&A: Do you worship things like... your hair/hairlessness? your looks? your muscles?

the test

so I went to mater pathology to get some blood tests done. :( I so regret it! haha the lady had just transfered from another firm and I was apparently her first "patient". I don't particularly like needles so having needle suck out 10 test tubes of blood wasn't very fun.

To make it worse, while I was "settling in" the lady was like.. so this is what I do blah blah blah and conforming and asking how things were suppose to be done... made me so nervous. and then she shoved the needle in right.. but then she couldn't find a big vein... and the blood wasn't like going through the tubes and so she was poking around trying to find a better source of blood... OHH THEE PAINNN!!! and I didn't realise, but when they take blood out... your arm gets like pins and needles. My arm is still numb :D.

... to make a decision

But i had to rethink---- did i really make that decision. If God has drawn me a path to walk... and is the path i want to take, a God centered one? There comes a time in my life (again), its hard to decide to be obedient to my parents or to God...

Being patient is not something that comes naturally for me and I have to thank my brothers and sisters for praying for me. So thanks. One of my fav. passages from the bible in times of.. uncertainty is Philippians 4:6. Here it is, Brother and Sisters in Christ:

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

When you're alone...

God is really with you. At the end of the day, I still have a smile not on my face but in my heart.

hello. i love earl grey tea. mmmm I've gone back into a phase of drinking tea heaps and minimal coffee. today group work wasn't too bad. Surprisingly people spoke for the first time and made contributions. God does work wonders.

So I have problems talking/ explaining to people things.../ apologetics and a sister directed me to this site. Which i think is.... okay so farrr. haven't read much into it. BUT i think its a good thing for us to be involved in. If someone asked me something about my faith or questioned a doctrine... at times I'd say "I ... ummmm dunnooo"... so I guess it's a wake up call for me to do something about it.
