I finally have my passport, although I look shifty in the passport photo! Yay. All that is left to do is for muah to pack me bags :) I want a window seat and a seat with leg room and away from the toilet PLUS I want a kids coloring pack. I wonder if they still do them!

ohhh la la... recently,I found this site that makes AWEESOME stickers and business cards etc. I love stickers. the stickers are such a winner :) I wish they did travel bag tags! How awesome would that be.

Weddings Weddings Weddings

There are a heap of weddings coming up and I have to say, this reminds me of 1 passage. Ephesians 5. HAHAH it was like my worst nightmare. Mr. R said to me: you should start with Ephesians. So I did. And I got to this passage and thought: :0 what the... SUMBIT??! SUMBITT?!? Assssss ifff man. Hahah

Essentially, I thought the passage was summed up as: WOMEN ARE DOOR MATS! Which is not true. Hehe I had to read the whole passage to get the whole context! Hahah this was my first lesson on “reading in context”

Privilege or Burden?

Jury duty in my mind has been a burden, but I have surprisingly gained some useful insight on how courts are run.

BLT conference was a privilege. Although in the midst of all my assignments God gave me the opportunity to attend a conference which encouraged proactive/productive fellowship and recognizing that joy comes from an undying love for our Lord and Saviour.

How we see things as a privilege or burden can essentially change how what we do and view things. Amazing isn't it.

the test

so I went to mater pathology to get some blood tests done. :( I so regret it! haha the lady had just transfered from another firm and I was apparently her first "patient". I don't particularly like needles so having needle suck out 10 test tubes of blood wasn't very fun.

To make it worse, while I was "settling in" the lady was like.. so this is what I do blah blah blah and conforming and asking how things were suppose to be done... made me so nervous. and then she shoved the needle in right.. but then she couldn't find a big vein... and the blood wasn't like going through the tubes and so she was poking around trying to find a better source of blood... OHH THEE PAINNN!!! and I didn't realise, but when they take blood out... your arm gets like pins and needles. My arm is still numb :D.

... to make a decision

But i had to rethink---- did i really make that decision. If God has drawn me a path to walk... and is the path i want to take, a God centered one? There comes a time in my life (again), its hard to decide to be obedient to my parents or to God...

Being patient is not something that comes naturally for me and I have to thank my brothers and sisters for praying for me. So thanks. One of my fav. passages from the bible in times of.. uncertainty is Philippians 4:6. Here it is, Brother and Sisters in Christ:

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

When you're alone...

God is really with you. At the end of the day, I still have a smile not on my face but in my heart.

I started of with OMGOSHH WAT DO I DOOO!! hahah it probably hurt when I put it on the wrong angle and just yanked hahah. opppppsss... and i was like ... ermm what happens if its uneven... OH WELL.. and the shaver thing wasnt fully charged and i was like.. mm what happens if it runs out half way hahahha. and it was just soooo cool ahhahah I had such a good laugh i couldn't finish the job properly. Who wants their head shaved? Guarantee i wont shave your eyebrow :D

Ring-A-Bell

Hahah this was a highlight of my day yesterday. I was walking home from uni and was walking through this path way behind B block, for those QUT-ers. And the pathway is about say 5-6 meters wide. And strolling along minding my own business, I heard behind me like what sounded like a catering cart being rolled and I assumed it was heading to the cafe and so I didn’t bother to turn around. And then I hear this bell. *ding ding* and I thought, why does a trolley have a bell? How odd. Oh well.

But then it kept ringing and ringing and I noticed people looking at me/behind me and I just had to turn around in case I was blocking the path of something else. And so I turn around and see nothing till I look down. And I see this little kid on his tricycle with his over sized helmet and he’s ringing his bell and says to me:

excuse me!

*dirty look like as if i don't know the etiquette of how to walk on a path without blocking tricycles*

Hahah so I step aside so he can “overtake” me hahahah Aww soo cuteee.

So i went to fuel up me car the other day and well had trouble opening the knob for where you put da petrol in. I'm sure theres a technical term for it. ANYWAY.. after multiple attempts i had to ask this bloke to open it for me. :D I BET he was sniggering on the inside: " buahahah shes so weak she cant even open the fuel cap thing" TOTALLY WEAK MAN. haha i couldn't even open the bottle of milk this morning. Dreams

Do you ever wonder how one can dream? Like while your sleeping, yet your brain is like SUPPPER active. I think its freaking amazing. I never really appreciated how I could dream in my sleep till ... now. I've been taking cold and flu meds and the night meds make me pass out completely. I have no recollection of anything at all. Its odd. I miss dreaming even if sometimes its nightmares. I think God's amazing. For a mere human to be able to dream... mmm about anything and everything. Sometimes there is so much I don't thank God enough for. :) Thank you God. I want chur luv.

How not to catch a Critter

So I’ve learnt how not to catch a moth. Seeing I don’t love little critters in my room, I had this massive moth buzzing around one evening. And so I decided I’d HAVE to get rid of it. And so logically I doubled up some tissue and waited till it settled. And so Mr. Moth settles on my windows screen and BAM! I clamp over it the tissue. Maybe I used a bit too much KA-POW! And well it started to disintegrate through the windscreen. And just as that happens, a lovely gust of wind blows inwards and I’m glittered with moth guts. :S

Today it the 2nd of March 2010. I LOVE the rain, i just get to rest and sleep all dayyyy on my belly on my back... I’m totally like chillin. I think I’ve lost weight cos i miss my beloved famz too much!! They left me for soo longggggg! :’( I was being sneaky and farted while i was in suz lap then i ran away.. and she smelt the air!!! And she looked at me and ran out of the room! Hahah soo funny. She also said my breath stinks!! Hahah oppps. I must burped too!

I have sold my soul to LAW!! It’s week 2 and I’m already behind heheheh i guess it sucks to be me. I have to get cracking. :'( I’m reading non-stop and if it’s not reading its lectures audios! WAHH hahaha I’m so glad I only got 2 more years of this!!! And then I’d be like a worker! When I was working full time, I didn’t have any time and I’d get home feeling super drained and now that I’m studying it’s the same feeling except less pressure... But more self control and taking responsibility for how I spend my time. People say it’s time to start those study parties but I’m more individualistic. I can’t study with people because they distract me, like if I can hear you breath, that’ll distract me hahaha. Short attention span you could say.

But GOOD NEWSS!! the chillier seasons are coming in... which means moreee spicy food and hot soups and mmm yummy jelly top will grow :D

How can people be soo icky man or maybe I have a problem hahah. I found like old crumbs, old apple stickers, stains, dust, and who knows what!! Even PINOOOCLEAANNNN couldn’t get it off!! I swear I had to use like this anti bacterial hand gel. And that’s just he beginning.. I had a look at the mouse.. and in the cracks there was like gunk.. Dear Doggy Diarry!!

AWW yawn yawn I MISS MY MANDA and STEVE and KEV but not mim! Hahah I tried to steal more snacks but I couldn’t open them.. Dinner was yummyyy but no matter how cute i look, Suz won’t give me anymore... I watched the NRL all stars game and i was soo gunning for the indigenous team! I was soo happy when they won. I LOVEE THURSTONN and his shaggy hair!! Just like minee!!

I tried to sleep downstairs with Suz bro but he snored very loudly hahah butt i was able to sneak into Suz room hah and she didn’t get in trouble because I was putting on a show for her mom to show ALL NIGHT. I showed her that I was very good, quiet, lazy and and didn’t pee everywhere. Suz mom even petted me hahah she was soo scared and told me not to lick her.

Then i got up at 2 am and woke up suz mom and dad. Suz mom said she’d smack me if i didn’t go to sleep so i went back to sleep under suz bed. Then at 6 i decided to jump all over her bed and wake her up!muahahh Then she took me for a long walk and i peed and the rest you don’t need to knowww. Its weird walking in the morning . I am now lying in the sun writing to you all.

I miss you heaps manda. Bring back a “dennis oh” doggy mate for me okay manda?!

mmm new Italian place in Albert lane :D Looks like Melbourne if you ask me. So the service: great. Friendly young ppl. The down side is that they are foreign and have heavy accent from wherever they come from.. like say the dutch chef I had. BUT they were also quick to assist you and get things like menus. So the place is Pizza, Pasta and a Bar. Cool Chip card process- you get this like card thing that you swipe where ever you order stuff and you pay before you leave. you can pay sep. or together :D sweet aye unlike malaya corner.. cash only blah blah.

Price is the same as most Westernised placess- Start 10 - 19 for food and ++ for extra meattages. Cocktails etc. i dunno. They are quite popularrr since they opened in Dec 09. Very busy at lunch times 12 - 2 and from dinner at 6 - who knows when. The only problem i had was i guess, the sit down at table then look at menu then go to get the food then go back to table and eat. So you have to leave ur bag there or you have to stay behind to watch the bag while others get food. and then there the bit where you have to watch it cook.. that's cool i guess but i don't really like waiting in line watching other ppls food being cooked hahaha... I got in before peak hour so i was first in line but there wer like 5 ppl behind mee. Imagine that.. each pasta at least 5 mins times 5 people. dahhh. soo longg.

And table space.. not manyyy so cant seat heaps of ppl but there are nice long tables for groups. haha its very spacious. there are like high tables wif bar stool things and lower tables... the only gay thing is there is a block in the middle that holds the lamp, sauces and salt/pepper. This literally blocks view for ppl to talk to each other hahaha.. and its not movableee.. so maybe bad design. Interior design looks hip and new :D nice floor boards. Bar on level one and two.

Food: mmm lots of simple pastas and pizza. i wish meat was like staple food like their tomato paste but yeh.. I had a yummy pasta wif chicken bacon onion mushroom tomato sauce. You get to choose your pasta type too.. i'd recommend like no stringy long oness cos they tend to dry and stick together... It was cooked right in front of me with their induction heated thingys and their pasta was like automatically lowered in this boiler thing.. soo cool it was like a spaceship. So i think the chefs aren't actual chefs cos my chicken was over cooked and not enough salt but over all it was good. very nice flavours and it was fresh :D.. mm i even ate the dumb basil that was in thereeee.

Well I've come across many hilarious stories of the male species and household chores and I find it quite funny how a simple task can go tragically wrong.

Story 1:
Wife tells husband to empty kitchen bin into garbage. Man obeys and chucks the garbage and entire bin into wheelie bin. Man and chores = fail

Story 2:
Daughter requests recycling bin to be emptied. Recycling bin written clearly on bin. Man fulfills request by throwing entire contents and bin into recycling bin. Man and chores = fail

Story 3:
Wife goes on holidays. Wife leaves laundry for Husband to clean. Wife places normal laundry liquid out next to washing machine. Wife puts away bleach in cupboard. Man goes to wash laundry and overlooks the laundry liquid set out and searches for liquid of any form in cupboard. Results. Blotchy clothes never to be worn again in public. Man and chores = fail

* and yes there are some who can competently do chores. :)

Fresh Wind Fresh Fire

There has been lots on my mind so lots of blogging. I hate reading. In fact so much so, I even skim read books like twilight :D. So I've been encouraged in a number of ways to read books, especially Christian based ones. PM lent me half a dozen books in late 2008. I have read 1 of the books he lent :D ahahh pretty bad record. After confessing my lazy habit, a good brother of mine said, you not reading = lazy = sin. Well something along those lines. So then I've been given books as gifts. I've read 1 of them so far. Pretty good book considering it's size. I'll do a book review later.

Then my mom told me to read this book: Fresh Wind Fresh Fire! and BOOY. its good. its been a while since I've read a book that's captured my attention. I started reading it today and i could put it down. Seriously. Who would have thought. :D

** oh side note: shopping today. gotta say.. i should done it in the city. Shops at Springfield lieedd. They said they'd be open to 11... turned out to be about 9:30!! hahahh i guess more last minute shopping tmr! ohh and i love the song... Fireflies!!! and its almost Christmasss!! another yearr zooomed pastt!! no wayss!

Pet Hate 1.0

hahah so i have many but after alot of photo taking I realized this is one of the big ones... its like when dudes [who are not your bff or bf or bro] like put their arm around your waist when taking photos hahah ... reasons? umm personal space and it tickles. I know of someone who is like a serial waist hugger! I guess everyone's different but yeh... hands off :P Think about this dudes: What's the reason you dudes have for wrapping arm around waist? I think if you do it generally to guys and girls [ie. wrap arms around waist regardless of gender] then its okay but if your a dude and you don't wrap your arm around another dudes waist then I'd say don't do it to chicks u don't dig.

So like this afternoon V.H was in a mad rush out of the office and like completely bowled over one of the admin chicks!!ahhah it was hilarious but it kinda made me think about where the heck i met V.H! and for a moment i forgot. So i write this down now so i wont forget what a great chick V.H is. The first impression i got was V.H was the kindest and sweetest chick at Yf. hahahha I was looking for transport to BLT and i didn't know who to turn to but then V.H landed in front of me and offered to find me transport. She said: Wait here & two mins later.. i was still standing there but then she came back wif good news that ......... transport was arranged via. PM Chauffeur Services. Funny huh? V.H is awesome! *high five*

....

-cant sleep- its only 4 days till Christmas. The day Christ was born.

The little things count

So I started today thinking it was Thursday and was super glum cause it felt like the week was soooo much longer till the weekend but then i found out it was Friday. Yay! hahah maybe I'm nuts cos I've been eating hot Korean 2 min noodle for breakfast. There has been lots happening. Hard to find the words. Here are some stages.

Stage 1
Sometime I doubt or question the future. I ponder what is to come, what I'm suppose to do, how am i suppose to live out a Godly life.

Stage 2
Then some self realization that you're just crap and full of flaws and so sinful. Then you go into mini depression. :( like today.

Stage 3
But somehow God makes things so much clearer. I don't know how but sometimes its the little things you do in life that makes others around you smile.

So thanks. You may or may not know who you are but today, the little things you did for me made the day much better. The little things count. :)

Defined by Profession!!

You know wat!! I really hate it when parent/the older generation define you by profession. Ohh my son's a doctor, ohh my daughter is a lawyer. rah rah.. When they meet family friends, it's hi, this is my daughter, shes a lawyer. I'm like a trophy to them. This is why parents force you into professions that are worthy of recognition. Do you ever think to define your child as something else other than the profession they work in. What if.... I was a toilet cleaning. They wouldn't be so proud of me then would they!!

2nd hand

Dear Diary,

I like to smoke. Not. I seem to have absorbed so much 2nd hand smoke, air just doesn't seem to be normal without someone smoking somewhere around the corner. It's odd how people start picking up habits. I sure hope I don't smoke.

My diet is awesome. I think God has answered my prays. My metabolism is slowing down a the old age of 20. Yesterday at 22:00 I had a Fillet-O-Fish Burger and this morning at 9:00 I had a bacon and egg sub and at 12:00 I had a supersized mocha float from my beloveed Zarraffas which was fully loaded with choc, whip cream, ice cream, espresso, milk and choc powder.

On an odd note, I hate answering my phone with my "professional" voice. Makes me sound weird so do me a favour and unblock your number please ppl, so i know who's calling.

Its now 17:00 which mean I will be napping.

you know how parents love to put photos of you as kids, grad or some special moment and plaster it on your wall for public display? yeh.. my mom wants me and my formal picture.. hahah so far. its been 3 years and shes still waiting... the other day she was gonna buy a frame and i said: WAIT! we dont konw wat size it is. Lets wait till i check the size. haha Truth is that i dont want it up there for public display :D Sorry mom. I understand graduation but formal ... gees no thanks.

Side note: You know wat I FOUND OUT! schoolies this week.. i dont really want to go to the beachhhh then.. but i guess its up to the kids.

You know when people say try it and you just don't have the guts to because of 1 bad experience. For example: I have not eaten a burger from HJ in a decade since having food poisoning from it a decade ago. So here try this [Don't judge by ugly photo]. Its nice. Smoked Salmon slices with fresh rocket and carrot salad with a dollop of cream chesses on toasted Turkish bread. Its a winner!

Today I was unexpectedly on Sunday School duties due to my bad memory. Super dead from Brothers night, I was totally buzzed but the kids were hyperactive like usual. Kids yelling across the table in a room that's like 4X4m is not cooooool! Threats like: I'm so gonna take a point off you doesn't really work very well anymore. Really shoulda taken some earmuffs or drugs.

On a better note: the girls in the class have already started planning for my future by playing a game of match. Complex mathematical algebra that foretells who my husband will be etc. So my husband name is David, a sexy hairdresser. I'll be residing in a mansion and have 1 kid. Man.. how cool man.. so I'm so lucky compared to Grace who is going to have 80 kids and live in an attic. hahahah

I seriously forgot little kids, don't know that picking nose is not awesome. haha Had a kid dig right in there looking for some boogie whilst looking dead straight at meeeee and smile. hahahah Aunty A would not be impressed ^^

ahh not very productive

yeh so havent been very productive the past two dayssss min. study. lots of fun times. Sister's night was something that exceeded my expectations. So well done to da bros!!

When I get a pack of high-lighters its normally multi colour: yellow, green, blue, orange, pink etc. Yellow always runs out as I use it most and its invisible when you photocopy. Pink is always the inkiest as its rarely used.

learning made fun

I love learning new stuff bout the rules of sports. I remember I learnt how NRL worked in grade 7 cos everyone was white and watched the broncos :D buahah. I learnt cricket by watching it on TV. [I <3 Pup] Its quite boring but when you have nothing to do, time fliesss. I still haven't got the hang of the American football, you know the  "hut hut" game. ahha Now I'm trying to get a grip on NBA through the Mao Fantasy League. Soo much to learn, when my brain should be filled with theories of how to sue someone etc...

Exam tips

1. Wear your good luck red undies/clothes whichever you prefer
2. Bring your brain to the exam and switch it on
3. Sleep the night before so you don't fall asleep during the exam
4. Eat and dump before hand [3 hr exams are draining so fill up ur tummy]
5. Get in early and get the best seat in the house [for me, I like a corner in the back row so less noise, I can see everyone and only one neighbour]

I know I should be studying but when it comes to exam times, I happen to want to procrastinate more. Avoid studying XD! anyway, I found this. Back at school, if you wanted to leave or were late, you needed a pink slip. haha look at my reason for leaving school. I had to study @ 11:00 I was probably going to watch a movie or somthing hahahah. I found other ones saying: family; personal reasons; missed the train! haha
